BC SPCA 2019 Paws for a Cause - Lafarge Lake, Coquitlam
This past Sunday September 8th was the annual BC SPCA Paws for a Cause walk! It was a little chilly first thing in the morning, but it warmed up and temperature ended up being perfect!
As a pet photographer, I volunteered and supported the event doing what I enjoy the most… photographing dogs! I attended the one in Lafarge Lake, which helped raising much needed funds to help animals in the care of the Tri-Cities branch.
It was such a fun event, the festival featured animal related vendors, pet tricks, 50/50, dog obedience competitions, a beer garden, and a BBQ with veggie options for friends and family to enjoy! I think I definitely need to do the walk next year with my pups! There were a lot of cool activities and TONS of dog lovers. The best part was definitely supporting a fantastic cause and making a difference for animals in need.
If you haven’t been part of this awesome fundraising event make sure you join next year, it is a fantastic way to help the BC SPCA fight against animal cruelty!
